Reece etched himself into Jessica’s memory when he yelled at her across the counter of the roadhouse where Jess was working one night, bringing her to tears. Reece apologised, and gave Jess his phone number written on a fuel receipt…and 8 years later they were married!
Jessica surprised Reece on the morning of the wedding with a watch customised to include a picture of Reece and his late father Tony on the face. Jess had the back of the watch engraved with “I will love you until the end of time”. Jessica’s Grandmother, Mirth, who passed away in 2008 was not forgotten on Jess’ special day, with her Atelier Rose gown a modern replica of Mirth’s wedding dress from 1962.
As Jess told me in an email the day after their wedding: “It was a very eventful wedding day, coffee spilt on my card, a secret present for the groom, a fainting bridesmaid before the first kiss, sparklers that caught a table on fire, speeches that took an ETERNITY, blackberry scratches (healing very nicely by the way lol) and a dress covered in blood minus about 10 layers of tulle – WE LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF OUR DAY – and I only wish we could go back in time and relive every single moment!!!!!!!!! It was perfect in our eyes…and very us.”
Congrats Reece and Jess, thanks for letting me capture your most special day!
