The Year Six dance is a pretty big deal. Especially if you get asked by the wrong boy. Even more so if you are the boy that was too slow in asking and missed his chance. Luckily for Adam, when he finally got the courage to ask Georgia to the disco in the school hall she quickly turned down the other guy and went with Adam instead.
So when it came to asking Georgia another big question, possibly the biggest question ever, he made sure he got in first. And she said yes!
Georgia and Adam were married in a relaxed outdoor seaside ceremony in Darook Park in Cronulla, just below Georgia’s family home. The day was a cracker – pretty hot for those that remember last Saturday, so Sue, the mother of the bride went down for a swim with Georgia’s three brothers before the ceremony.
Georgia looked radiant, and her beautiful wedding dress was actually the wedding dress that her mum got married in over thirty years ago!
Following the ceremony everyone went back to Adams’ family home to party. And anyone that knows Georgia’s family, knows they can party (see dance floor photos for a taste!)
This day of celebration was a really special one for me to capture, and I feel blessed to have been a part of it, seeing so much love, joy, emotion and fun.
Adam and Floss, I hope that joy and laughter is always at the centre of your marriage! Congrats!
