Shaun and Mon met whilst studying architecture at UNSW. As Shaun put it in his wedding speech his “mild stalking” of Mon in the library paid off, and him and Mon soon fell in love. Now I’ve known Shaun since I was a wee tacker in primary school, and let me tell you – it’s taken a pretty special lady to marry Shaun. He is the most excitable, overenthusiastic, loud, adventurous guy I know, and Monica is the perfect match – she is creative, level headed, reasonable, and supportive of Shaun.
They were married this weekend at the Coptic Orthodox Church of Saints Mary and Mercurious in Rhodes, surrounded by over 250 friends and family. Being dear friends with the couple (and the bridal party) made capturing this day a breeze. Even though the sky was heavy the rain held off and we were able to relax in the reserve before heading to Curzon Hall for the reception.
Shaun and Mon entertained us with belly dancing before blowing the crowd away with their amazing swing dance routine for their first dance. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this special day. Shaun and Mon, you are perfect for each other, and Bel and I love you both heaps! Congrats.
